Eritrean Evangelical Fellowship in Europe was founded in 2006 by a group of Eritrean congregations across Europe in response to a growing spiritual and humanitarian need among displaced believers. Its roots, however, trace back to the wider Pentecostal movement in Eritrea, which experienced severe persecution beginning in the early 2000s.
Following the banning of the Pentecostal Church in Eritrea in 2002, thousands of believers were forced to flee their homeland. Many endured extremely dangerous journeys through deserts, trafficking routes, and the Mediterranean Sea. Countless lives were lost, and survivors carried deep physical and emotional trauma, including PTSD and long-term suffering caused by violence, exploitation, and displacement.
Amid these hardships, God preserved His people. Young believers, often without formal theological training or leadership experience, became spiritual support for fellow migrants. In deserts, camps, and refugee routes, they shared the Gospel, prayed, worshiped, and ministered hope. Many came to faith in Christ during these journeys.
As Eritrean believers settled across Europe, they began forming local congregations in cities across the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and beyond. These churches became centers of worship, healing, and community life. They preserved language, culture, and faith while adapting to life in diaspora.
Although local churches are vital, the need for unity across Europe led to the formation of EEPCFE as a fellowship body. The vision is not to replace local churches, but to strengthen them through cooperation, shared doctrine, leadership development, and mutual accountability.
In a time of increasing cultural confusion and weakening faith foundations, EEPCFE seeks to provide:
EEPCFE recognizes Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church (Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18). All authority, ministry, and conduct are grounded in His lordship.
The highest governing body is the Conference, which meets annually and is responsible for establishing doctrine, governance policies, ministerial appointments, and fellowship-wide decisions. A Leadership Board is elected every four years to oversee administration, training, and operational matters.
The Leadership Team is tasked with providing spiritual guidance, coordinating ministry activities, organizing training programs, and managing fellowship resources according to the annual conference decisions.
EEPCFE represents a movement toward unity among Eritrean evangelical congregations in Europe. Despite differences in geography, structure, and local context, we are committed to becoming one body in Christ — working together in mission, discipleship, and service.
Our journey is shaped by hardship but anchored in hope. We believe that God has preserved us through suffering not only for survival, but for purpose: to proclaim the Gospel, strengthen the church, and serve our communities across Europe and beyond.
We therefore continue to pursue greater unity, stronger leadership development, and deeper cooperation among all member churches — trusting that what began in scattered gatherings will mature into a strong, unified fellowship for the glory of God.
ሕብረት ወንጌላውያን ኤርትራውያን ኣብ ኤውሮጳ ብ2006 ብጉጅለ ኤርትራውያን ኣብ ኤውሮጳ ዝተሰብሰቡ ማሕበረ-ክርስቲያናት ተመስሪቱ። እዚ ምስ ዝገደደ መንፈሳዊን ሰብኣዊን ምድላው ኣብ መንጎ ዝተሰደዱ ኣማኒያት ኣብ ኤውሮጳ ብምምላእ እዩ ተፈጢሩ። ግን መሰረቱ ናብ ሰፊሕ ፔንጤቆስጣል ንቅናቄ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዝተመለሰ እዩ፣ እዚ ድማ ኣብ መጀመርታ 2000ታት ብጽኑዕ ምስ ምስክር ምግፋዕ ዝተጋጠመ እዩ።
ድሕሪ ምእጋድ ፔንጤቆስጣል ቤተ-ክርስቲያን ኣብ ኤርትራ ብ2002፣ ብዙሓት ኣማኒያት ካብ ሃገሮም ክስደዱ ተገዲዶም። ብዙሓት ኣብ ምድረ-በዳ፣ መንገዲ ምሕዝብነት ሰብኣዊ ዘይሕጋዊ ንግዲ፣ ከምኡ’ውን ባሕሪ ሜድትራንያን ኣብ ጥራይ ዘይምእንቲ ናይ ህይወት ጉዕዞታት ተጋጠሙ። ብዙሓት ህይወቶም ጠፊኦም፣ ዝተረፉ ድማ ዓሚቅ ስነ-ልቦናዊን ኣካላዊን ጉድኣት ሒዞም ተረፉ፣ እዚ ድማ ምስ PTSD ከምኡ’ውን ብግፍዒ ዝተፈጸመ ቁጽሪ ሕማምን ስደትን ዝተተሓሓዘ እዩ።
ኣብ መንጎ እዚ ሕማቅ ኩነታት፣ እግዚአብሔር ህዝቡ ኣድሒኑ ጠበቐ። ብዙሓት መንእሰያት ከይተማህሩ ብዘርእስ ትምህርቲ መንፈሳዊ ስልጠና ወይ መሪሕነት ተሞክሮ ዘይብሎም፣ ንሓደ ሓደ ኣማኒ ኣብ ጉዕዞ ስደት መንፈሳዊ ድጋፍ ኮይኖም ኣገልገሉ። ኣብ ምድረ-በዳ፣ ካምፓትን መንገዲ ስደትን ወንጌል ሰበኹ፣ ጸለዩ፣ ኣምልኾ ገበሩ፣ ተስፋ ኣመልከቱ። ብዙሓት ኣብ እዚ ጉዕዞታት ናብ ክርስቶስ ኣመኑ።
ኣማኒያት ኤርትራውያን ኣብ ኤውሮጳ እንዳ ተሰፈሩ፣ ኣብ ዝተፈላለዩ ከተማታት ኣብ እንግሊዝ፣ ጀርመን፣ ጣልያን፣ ኔዘርላንድ፣ ስካንዲናቭያን ከምኡ’ውን ካልኦት ቦታታት ማሕበረ-ክርስቲያናት መስርሑ። እዚ ቤተ-ክርስቲያናት ማእከል ኣምልኾ፣ ፈውሲ ከምኡ’ውን ማሕበራዊ ህይወት ኮይኖም ኣገልገሉ። ቋንቋ፣ ባህሊን እምነትን ሓለዉ፣ ኣብ ሕይወት ስደት ድማ ተመዓራርዮም።
እኳ ውሽጢ ከባቢ ቤተ-ክርስቲያናት ኣድላይ እንተኾኑ፣ ኣብ ኤውሮጳ ዘሎ ሓድነት ዝበለጸ ምዃኑ ንምምሕዳር ሕብረት EEPCFE ተመስሪቱ። ራእይ እዚ ንናይ ውሽጢ ቤተ-ክርስቲያናት ምትካእ ኣይኮነን፣ እንተኾነ ግን ብምትሕብባር፣ ሓባራዊ ትምህርቲ፣ ምዕባለ መሪሕነትን ሓላፍነትን ንምድጋፍ እዩ።
ኣብ ዘመን ብዙሕ ባህላዊ ምድብልብን ዝደኸመ መሰረት እምነትን፣ EEPCFE እዚ ዝስዕብ ክህብ ይደሊ፦
EEPCFE ንየሱስ ክርስቶስ ርእሲ ቤተ-ክርስቲያን ከም ይቕበል (ኤፌሶን 5፡23፣ ቆሎሴ 1፡18)። ኩሉ ስልጣን፣ ኣገልግሎትን ምግባርን ብርእስነቱ ይመራሕ።
ላዕለዋይ መሪሕ ኣካል ዝበሃል ኮንፈረንስ እዩ፣ ዓመታዊ ዝሰብስብ ኮይኑ ዶክትሪን፣ ፖሊሲ መሪሕነት፣ ምምዛን ኣገልገልቲን ውሳኔታት ሕብረትን ይወስን። መሪሕ ቦርድ ንኣርባዕተ ዓመት ይምረጽ እና ኣብ ምምሕዳር፣ ስልጠናን ስራሕ ንጥፈታትን ይቆጻጸር።
መሪሕ ጉጅለ መንፈሳዊ መምሪሕነት ምሃብ፣ ንጥፈታት ኣገልግሎት ምምሕዳር፣ ስልጠና ምድላውን ሃብቲ ሕብረት ምምሕዳርን ብመሰረት ውሳኔታት ኮንፈረንስ ይፍጽም።
EEPCFE ሓድነት ኣብ መንጎ ኤርትራውያን ወንጌላውያን ቤተ-ክርስቲያናት ኣብ ኤውሮጳ ዘሎ ምንቅስቓስ ይውክል። እኳ ቦታ፣ መዋቅርን ከባቢን ዝተፈላለዩ እንተኾኑ፣ ብክርስቶስ ኣካል ሓደ ንምዃን ተወሳኺ ተዋህዶ ንግብሪ ወንጌል፣ ትምህርቲን ኣገልግሎትን ንምስራሕ ንተዓጻጻፊ ንኾነ።
ጉዕዞና ብስቓይ ተቐሚጡ እንተኾነ ብተስፋ ይተኣምን። እግዚአብሔር ብዘይንቀሳቐስ ምእንቲ ምድሓን ኣይኮነን፣ ግን ምእንቲ ዓላማ፦ ወንጌል ምስባኽ፣ ቤተ-ክርስቲያን ምዕባለን ማሕበረሰብ ምግልጋልን እዩ።
ስለዚ ድማ ሓድነት ምዕባለ፣ ምምሕዳር መሪሕነትን ምትሕብባርን ኣብ መንጎ ኩሎም ኣባላት ቤተ-ክርስቲያናት ንቀጻሊ ንደሊ፣ እንተ እቲ ዝጀመረ ኣብ ተበታተነ ስብስባት ተመስሪቱ ዝነበረ ንክልምዕ ዝጸንሐ ሓድነት ንክኸውን ንእግዚአብሔር ንተኣማመን።
